What will 2021 mean for your business?
This blog is NOT about predictions and certainty in relation to the events of 2021 because I cannot do that. However, what I can do is talk about the energetic and numeric quality of 2021 in relation to business.

The essence of the blog was to give direction in order for you to manage the huge energy of 2020. 2+0+2+0 = 22. 22 is a master number, and in order to work with the energy of 2020 we needed to use the energy of 4 (2+0+2+0 = 4). 4 is about and is interested in structure, control, routine and systems. Using 4 helps us get our ducks in a row so we have structure in our lives and our business.
We can safely say that 2020 was a powerful year, an unprecedented year, energetically it is a karmic year (at the time of writing it’s not over). The side effects from the fall out of 2020 will last for a long time, as a clean-up operation will need to take place. We can also say that if individuals / business owners implemented an element of 4-ness then they would have been able to assemble and create some kind of normality in their lives and business during 2020. The clients I have worked with this year were able to do this (to some degree) and it helped them steer their ship through the challenging waters.
My comments about using 4 in 2020 were … (an extract from the blog)
If your foundations are not solid in a master number 22 year., there is more chance of wobbling. More structure, less chance of wobbling. The more structure you have with your foundations this year the less problems you will have. We are being called to get our foundations sorted. Get your shiz together! We need firm foundations to move forward in a 22 year.
Any weak areas or cracks in the following area need attending to …
- The body and health – give yourself a MOT
- Diet – feed your body with goodness
- Exercise – move your body
- Finances – investigate your investments / shares / ISA’s / pensions – is everything working as hard as it can for you? Manage money and make it work for you.
- Relationships – are there any that have passed their sell by date?
- Business – ensure you have firm foundations to move forward
- Home – attend to tasks to ensure everything is getting done
Which equals careful management of your own affairs, materially and metaphorically – doing the do so the ideas you have can be actualised.
How can we do this?
- By rational thinking
- By arranging and maintaining systems
- By using practical routes through obstacles
- By looking at our relationship with time management (as we want to be investing time in projects that will come to fruition)
So, with that in mind what does 2021 require of us?
If we relate numbers to the Major Arcana of The Tarot, we can see that 2020 was related to Judgement. The 20th Major Arcana card = Judgement. For the soul and consciousness of the world 2020 was about Judgement. Judgement of self and others, of humanity and of the world.
So, using this analogy, let’s look at 2021. 2+0+2+1 = 5. The 5th major Arcana card = The Hierophant. This card is all about … Teaching, Spiritual Advancement, Unity, Divine Inspiration, detail of everyday life, sanctuary of community, education, study group etc.
When I speak about the energy of the number 5 with my clients, I explain that the qualities are about expansion, growth, change and freedom. However 5 is also a very spiritual number and The Hierophant (also called The Pope) balances the energies between above and below and offers spiritual counsel. Even though on the card the picture depicts a human being, it also represents the nature of our own faith and the quest for oneness.
After 2020 many people have (and have been forced to) look at themselves and their lives and businesses. The 5/Hierophant energy in 2021 will assist and shine a light on …
- Spiritual advancement – what are the next steps for you? This is not separated from your business growth but an integral part of it.
- Teaching – what can you teach others through your business that is needed in these times?
- Study group / masterminds / mentoring – how do you integrate this into your business? Delivering them and taking part in them?
- What did you learn from 2020 in your business and how are you going to integrate this knowledge into 2021?
Grab your journal and have a brainstorm around these pointers and think about how you can bring these energies into your business for 2021.
What we do not want in our businesses with the energy of 5 is restriction, negative attitudes and a block of ideas. In 2021 you want to ensure you keep motivated and set clear defined goals that you appreciate and work towards in your business.
21 = The World = The Universe
The world card is about success, special reward, a natural conclusion, energy and optimism, travelling and embarking on a new direction, creative venture, a lifestyle change, completion, reward, togetherness and celebration.
The World is the final card of the 22 Major Arcana cards. It represents completion. It is a positive card and acknowledges and witnesses effort. It follows 20 = Judgement.
How did you use the energy of 2020? Did you implement the structure, routine, control and systems of the 4? Did you learn? Did you pivot? Did you serve your tribe? Did you experience judgement in any way?
The World certainly is able to give us success and special reward. It heralds energy and an optimism about the future. It is time for us to take a step into the wider world in our businesses, this can be physically – by travelling or choosing a new direction and embracing a new way of being. What we can also expect with The World is opportunities for togetherness through our business.
What we do not want in our businesses with The World energy is the refusal to move with the times, outdated values, or going round and round in circles.
We are being asked to step up and step out.
Looking at these energies we can say that we will be offered certain opportunities in our life and business – but it is up to us whether we take them or not.
It is our job and our responsibility to engage when we can and do the best we can as everything starts with the self.
In 2021 we will have a chance to reboot, revive and replenish ourselves and our businesses, but the buck stops with us. Are you ready?
