How do you work out Your Life Path number (correctly)?
I create lots of content for my Bizology Magic Circle. The first month in September 2020 is all about The Life Path number. I wanted to unpack some of the information and create a ‘How to …’ blog series. So, introducing the first one ‘How do you work our Your Life Path number?’
Each of us is born with a personal numeric DNA, as unique as our thumbprint. Numerology helps you reveal the foundations of your life and offers insights into your gifts, strengths, weaknesses, talents and challenges.
So, what is a Life Path Number?
A Life Path number, it is the single most important number in numerology – showing you your direction in life, the main opportunities you will attract, your talent and characteristics. It shows you more about you than any other number.
It shows you where you will find your success, power and energy. It also uncovers the shadow side of your personality – highlighting the negatives, so we can work to rectify these.
Some information about the Life Path number …
- Your Life Path Number is the main number we work with in numerology – it is your Life’s path – the path you are here to lead
- It is also called your Destiny Number – the destiny you are here to face in this lifetime
- Your number is created from the numbers in your date of birth. You cannot change your date of birth as you cannot physically be reborn in this lifetime, we speak about spiritual rebirth, but you cannot change your date of birth – it is impossible!
- 75% of what is going on in your life is related to your Life Path Number
- It is what you came to do and become on earth.
- When you align to this number – life works out!
Here is the thing, running a business is not easy, it if was everyone would do it. When we use numerology in business, we are given more insight into what you are here to do in your business = Bizology – ‘Using the Powers of Numerology to elevate your Business Success’.
Pursuing this path helps you work in harmony with who you are in your business at soul level. It enables you to conduct your own personal SWOT analysis looking at your personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and strengths.
It gives us a much much deeper understanding of who you are and from this place you can move forward in your business.
This is the direction you must take to achieve our long-term fulfilment. Pursuing this road sees us working in harmony with the universe. It enables you to capitalise on our strengths and be aware of our weaknesses.

- Understanding your Life Path number really helps you connect to what is possible for you and your business.
Through strengthening your connection with yourself – and identifying and recognising your purpose, you can smooth your lives path.
When your Life path is explained to you – it will resonate and feel right – as you already know it. The trick is, are you working with or against it? And if against, how is this working out for you? If you are working in the negative of our Life path number, you will know about it! Your life will not flow or work for you and you will not feel peace in your life. Instead you will feel stuck.
When you understand the energy of our Life Path number and what that means for our lives, it helps us connect to your path and purpose. We will find a ‘rightness’ going on with our lives as life fits and flows. Going deeper, it helps you share our message in the world and serve your tribe in a way that is aligned with our innate gifts and destiny.
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR LIFE PATH NUMBER
To calculate your Life Path, we take your date of birth, I have used my date of birth, 04/04/1973 as an example. The whole numbers are added together.
Your Birth day e.g. : 04
Birth month e.g. : 04
Birth year e.g. : 1973
Total = 1981
The numbers in this number are then added individually
= 1981 = 1 + 9+ 8+ 1 =
19 = 1 + 0 =
1 = The Leader
My Life Path number is 1 – I am working with the energy of the number 1= The Leader.
Yes, we all have the ability to be leaders at different times in our lives, but it is Life Path 1’s that will show this ability on a daily basis. Each number has dominant traits that distinguish one life path from another.
Please take care when calculating your number. The reason we use whole numbers instead of individual numbers is that we want to make sure we do not miss master numbers.
If your final calculation is an 11 or 22 do not reduce these to 2 or 4 as 11 and 22 are master numbers.
I am looking at an article as I type in a very popular Sunday magazine that says Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates and Elton John are Life Path 4’s. They are no way Life Path 4’s they are 22’s – The Architect of Change! They are here to do a big job in life!
Also people say to me often that they are 11/2’s or 22/4’s. You can not be 2 numbers at the same time! You are even an 11 – The Spiritual Teacher or 2 – The Sensitive. The difference between these numbers in life and business is immense, and you will have different tools in your tool box to do the job you are here to do.
